A Vision of Haiti

This is a visual journey of my trip to Haiti. I had the opportunity to visit in 2007. It was a trip I always wanted to take. My father is from the country and like many American my vision of the country was through the media. To learn more about the country I read books and listened to stories that my family told. When I finally took the trip, I was taken aback by the beauty, poverty and warm and graceful spirit of the people.  It was a blessing to visit his homeland and learn more about myself.
