Frugal Holiday Shopping
If you know the Calming Diva you know that I am a bit on the frugal side. You may also know that I like to shop. This holiday season I put myself on a strict budget. I had to shop for 10 people and gave myself $300 to do so. I am proud to say that I didn’t go a penny over and my gifts are great buys for the people on my list. Here are my tips for staying on track for holiday shopping and some great deals that I found.
The Tips
Stay Mindful
Clip and save Coupons
Take advantage of the receipt surveys
Research sales to see where you will save the most
Stick to your plan
Don’t forget about the clearance rack
Try out new stores
Find great deals online
Some great sales and giveaways this holiday season.

Ulta 0 – Until supplies last. If you spend $35 or more on cologne or perfume you will receive a $60.00 robe for free.

Macy’s 6 – Has great sales on everything. There was an $88.00 sweater when all was said and done I ended up getting over 65% off. I also found great deals on shoes and boots.
T.J. Maxx 0 – I can’t rave enough about this store. I live in Michigan and the only thing I am starting to embrace about the winter is the accessories. A scarf not only keeps you warm but it is also a fashion statement. I adore scarves and hats. Where they can get a bit expensive, TJ’s has so many winter accessories that will make you swoon. With their discounted prices you can seriously clean up. I also found what I consider gourmet glamour. Those are the great beauty and bath products that we all love for half the price.

These are great finds. I love TJ’s too. I like the idea of researching sales and the surveys. One store that I found helped my budget this year is JCPennys. They have really stepped it up and their prices are good too.
Happy Holidays.
You have great gift ideas too
